If we want to reinvent ourselves, which is what everybody is trying to do — then we have to constantly keep our eyes open to new ideas.
Think of your brain as a kind of piggy bank. Smart people fill it up with everything they can learn until they possess a formidable wealth of knowledge. Then there are those who sit around all day, wondering what to do next, never putting anything new in their bank; pretty soon all they accumulate is a large butt.
Keep pushing down new paths.
Make big investments in the pursuit of knowledge.
Take a chance. If you do things the way everybody else does them, why do you think you’re going to do any better?
