We all start off nowhere to get somewhere.
Too many want to start at the top. They don’t want to do the hard work. But it is always hard work. What looks like overnight success is not.
Like all ideas, there is never a guarantee of success. I think it’s amusing when I hear people describe the moments that stand out the most in their lives and careers, the things that bring the most joy. Often they describe the times that were uncertain. The times they were afraid, stressed, and not sure anything was going to work out for the best. But these stories all have a common thread — they kept pushing and pulling until something gave way.
That’s the thing about success. During the pursuit, it feels like chaos and constant, looming failure. That’s how it’s always been.
Don’t be like those who would rather believe the myth that success just happens. It doesn’t.
Just keep pushing. Stay in the fight.
